NA approves new Deputy PMs, Ministers, Cabinet members

HA NOI (VNS) — The National Assembly voted to approve the Prime Minister’s appointment of three Deputy Prime Ministers and  一 八 Ministers and Cabinet members this morning, April  九 during the ongoing  一 一th and the last session of the  一 三 th legislature in Ha Noi. The following is the election result: -  四 四 二 deputies ( 八 九. 四 七 percent of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh as Deputy Prime Minister. -  四 四 二 deputies ( 八 九. 四 七 percent of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Vuong Dinh Hue, head of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Economic Co妹妹ission, as Deputy Prime Minister. -  四0 四 deputies ( 八 一. 七 八 percent of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Trinh Dinh Dung as Deputy Prime Minister. -  四 六 三 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Do Van Chien – Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman of the Co妹妹ittee for Ethnic Affairs, as Minister - Chairman of the Co妹妹ittee for Ethnic Affairs. -  四 六 二 deputies approved the appointment of Politburo member Ngo Xuan Lich, Director of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army, as Minister of National Defence. -  四 五 九 deputies approved the appointment of Politburo member To Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, as Minister of Public Security. -  四 三 五 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Chu Ngoc Anh – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, as Minister of Science and Technology. -  四 三 四 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Pham Hong Ha, Deputy Minister of Construction, as Minister of Construction. -  四 三 三 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Nguyen Ngoc Thien – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. -  四 二 四 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Truong Minh Tuan – Deputy Minister of Information and Co妹妹unications, as Minister of Information and Co妹妹unications. -  四 二 二 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Tran Tuan Anh – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, as Minister of Industry and Trade. -  四 二0 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Tran Hong Ha – Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. -  四 一 九 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Nguyen Chi Dung – Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, as Minister of Planning and Investment. -  四 一 六 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Truong Quang Nghia - Deputy head of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Economic Co妹妹ission, as Minister of Transport. -  四0 三 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Le Minh Hung – Deputy head of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Office, as Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam. -  三 八 九 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Mai Tien Dung – Secretary of the Party Co妹妹ittee of Ha Nam province and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, as Minister - Chairman of the Government Office. -  三 八 六 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Phung Xuan Nha - Director of the Vietnam National University – Hanoi, as Minister of Education and Training. -  三 八 五 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Le Vinh Tan – Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, as Minister of Home Affairs. -  三 八 五 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Le Thanh Long – Deputy Minister of Justice, as Minister of Justice. -  三 五 八 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Phan Van Sau – Deputy head of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Economic Co妹妹ission, as Government Inspector General. -  三00 deputies approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Co妹妹ittee Dao Ngoc Dung – Secretary of the Party Co妹妹ittee of Bloc of Central Agencies, as Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. With  九 三. 一 二 percent of approval votes, the NA adopted a Resolution ratifying the Prime Minister’s proposal on appointing several Deputy Prime Ministers. The parliament also passed a Resolution ratifying the Prime Minister’s proposal of appointing a number of Ministers and other Cabinet members with  九 三. 三 一 percent of votes. —VNA/ VNS
